	Shank Shot Consolation Champions!!! Well, it was tight, but Nicole pulled it out for us. Liz and Nicole won in two hill-hill sets and the other team forfeited set five. Nicole played so well we gave her the single, tiny trophy*. We played an away match at the Poodle club and beat the other team in their own bar. Now we go on to regionals in Feburary! It's true we're Consolation Champions! Nicole, in the middle pulled out the match. Kory, me, Liz, Nicole, and Todd (clockwise) not pictured: Dylan and Mike *Why do I call it a "single, small" trophy? Well, the "Division Champions," the best of the top four in the division, get individual trophies (see my two from Summer and Winter 2001) for each team member and one large one for the sponsoring bar. On the other hand the "Consolation Champions" get one small trophy to fight over.
